Lament

*
I'd have an easier time believing in an all-loving God if my back yard were infested with yellow-fin tunas instead of squirrels.

  1. Got another one this morning. Off to the forest we go.

  2. this conversation sounds a little like how Bonnie and Clyde got their start-- first squirrel-napping, then fanaticizing rodenticide, quickly escalating to armed robbery

On the other hand bank robbery is beginning to sound like an honorable occupation

  3. Gurlitzer: is the forest you're referring to that land east of TP around Ridgeland that had trees about 15 ft tall in the mid-70's?

Anon: bank robbery has already been made an honorable occupation by right-wing politicians and celebrity pundits. If Willie Sutton was still alive, he'd now rob mansions instead of banks, because that's where all the money is now.

  4. The forest is on Central, Yankee Woods. The trees are huge, 60-70 feet tall and are probably about 100 years old. They would have been way bigger than 15' in the 70s. There are tons of forests in the area, some with smaller trees.
